Filiz BEDELZADE

I’m Filiz, and I live in Izmir, Turkey, where I study at Izmir American College. My future aspirations lie in the business world, where I hope to make an impact. I’m deeply passionate about economics, always looking to learn more and stay informed. In addition to my academic interests, I play the violin, which has been a significant part of my life for years. I also run a personal blog, where I share my thoughts and experiences on a variety of topics called Liz Weekly. I’m excited about the path ahead, combining my love for business, music, and writing to shape my future.

Defne DOGAN

​​I am Defne, a student at the Izmir American Institute in Izmir, Turkey. I have a deep passion for law and politics, especially for debating. I aspire to become a lawyer-politician in the future. Alongside my academic interests, I also play the flute, which has allowed me to explore my love for music. I am in an independent flute orchestra and we donate all we make. I'm devoted to helping people in the best way I can. I am dedicated to both my studies and my extracurricular activities, with the goal of making a meaningful impact in my community through a career in politics and law.​
